Return and cancellation policy

1. Scope

This Returns and Withdrawal Policy applies to all sales made by SMG , publisher of the website autodiag-france.com , to its consumer or professional clients.

It defines the conditions under which a customer can return a product or exercise their right of withdrawal in accordance with the Consumer Code .

2. Legal right of withdrawal (physical products only)

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the Consumer Code , the consumer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify reasons or pay penalties.

The product must be returned in its original packaging , complete, unused, and in perfect condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer , except in the case of an error on our part or a defective product upon receipt.

Any item returned incomplete, damaged, or with damaged original packaging will not be accepted or refunded.

This right of withdrawal applies only to orders delivered within the European Union .
For orders shipped outside the EU , returns are possible at your expense, only for physical and unused products.

3. Exception: digital products and downloadable software

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code , the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Digital content supplied on an intangible medium (download, software license, activation key, installation file, etc.) the execution of which has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and for which the consumer has waived their right of withdrawal.

Thus, any order for a digital product on AUTODIAG-France (software, activation key, download link, virtual file, paid tutorial, etc.) is firm and final upon receipt of the link or files.

No exchanges, refunds or credit notes will be granted, including in the following cases:

• Product selection error during purchase;
• Incompatibility between the product and your hardware (computer, operating system, antivirus, etc.);
• Installation impossible due to inappropriate use or configuration not conforming to technical prerequisites.

AUTODIAG-France provides installation guides and tutorials on its website to help you use the downloaded software correctly.

4. Products not eligible for return

The following items cannot be returned :

• Digital products (software, files, keys, downloads);
• Gift cards and digital credits;
• Perishable products (food, magazines, etc.);
• Products for intimate, sanitary or hygiene use;
• Hazardous products, flammable gases or liquids.

5. Refunds

Once your return (physical product) has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the receipt and validation (or rejection) of your request.

If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method within a maximum of 14 working days from the validation of the return.

Sale or promotional items are not refundable.

6. Exchanges

We only replace physical items that are defective or damaged upon receipt, subject to a request made within 30 days of delivery.

7. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a credit equal to the value of the return.

If the item was not marked as a gift or was sent to the buyer first, the refund will be sent to the original buyer.

8. Product Return

To return a physical product, please:

1. Complete the withdrawal form (available in the FAQ section of the website);
2. Send an email to contact@autodiag-france.com specifying your order number ;
3. Return the product to the address that will be provided to you by email.

Return shipping costs are your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service , especially for any item valued over €75.
