How to install Delphi 2016, 2017 or 2018

Step-by-step installation and activation guide

This guide details the complete installation and activation procedure for the Delphi 2016 / 2017 / 2018 software, a multi-brand automotive diagnostic solution, used in particular with the Autocom DS150E V1.0 interface.

Please follow each step carefully to avoid any installation or activation problems.

1. System Requirements

Before you begin, make sure your computer meets at least the following specifications:

• Processor: Dual Core

• RAM: 4 GB

• Available disk space: 30 GB minimum

• Operating system: Windows 7 minimum

2. Software Download

Download the version of the software that meets your needs (2016, 2017 or 2018) from a reliable source.

Example :
Download Multidiag / Delphi 2017 R3

Once the download is complete, do not open the software yet .

3. Preparation before installation (IMPORTANT)

Before any installation, you must perform the following actions:

1. Disable your internet connection

2. Temporarily disable your antivirus

3. Remove any old version of Delphi / Autocom / Multidiag
   (including residual files)

4. Unzip the downloaded archive using WinRAR
   → in a standard folder (avoid the Desktop and “Program Files”)

These steps are essential to ensure a clean installation and avoid conflicts related to antivirus software, the Internet, or residual files.

4. Installing Delphi 2017 R3 (example)

Step 1: Decompression

• Unzip the archive:
  CAR 2017 Rev.3 vFiNaL.zip

• Copy the Cars 2017.R3 folder to the location of your choice.
  (example: C:\Delphi\Cars 2017.R3 )

5. Generating the FileActivation.xml file

1. Open the Cars 2017.R3 folder

2. Launch the Main.exe file

3. Delphi starts and displays an activation window
   (The procedure is identical for CARS and TRUCKS)

4. Click on:

   • Following

   • Start

5. Click Yes to save the file
   FileActivation.xml

➡️ The file is automatically created in the Cars 2017.R3 folder

6. Activation with the Delphi 2017 Keygen

Prerequisites:

• Delphi 2017 software downloaded

• Delphi 2017 keygen downloaded

Step 1: Launch the Keygen

• Run the Delphi 2017 Keygen

Step 2: Keygen Setup

In the Keygen:

• Brand : Delphi

• Select desired device / software : Delphi Cars CDP+

Step 3: File activation

1. Click on Activate FileActivation.xml

2. Select the FileActivation.xml file generated previously

3. The status “Activated” should appear

   • If this is not the case, click Activate FileActivation.xml again.

7. Final startup of Delphi

1. Close the Keygen

2. Launch Delphi 2017

3. An activation window will appear:

   • Click on No

4. Select the FileActivation.xml file modified by the Keygen

➡️ The software activates and launches normally.

8. Installation complete

Your Delphi 2016 / 2017 / 2018 software is now operational and ready to be used with your Autocom DS150E interface.

You can now perform the following:

• Reading and clearing faults
