Installing .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 on Windows 11

Some applications won't work on Windows 11 if .NET Framework versions 2.0, 3.0, or 3.5 aren't installed. Here's how to easily add them to your system.

✅ Steps to follow:

1. Open Settings
   Click the Start button (Windows logo in the taskbar), then click Settings (or use the shortcut Windows + I ).

2. Access system features
   In the left column, click on System , then in the right section, select Optional Features .

3. Access advanced Windows features
   Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on More Windows features (this opens a new window titled Windows Features ).

4. Enable the .NET Framework 3.5
   In the list, check the box for .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) , and then click OK .

5. Download the necessary files
   If prompted, select Download files from Windows Update . Windows will automatically retrieve the required files and proceed with the installation.

6. Complete the installation
   Once the process is complete, click Close . The .NET Framework is now activated.
