🧰 Installation Tutorial — VAG-COM HEX-V2 STM32F429 Cable (VCDS FRM)

📦 Required files

1. Open the download link.
   

2. In this folder, download :

   • VCDS-FRM-25031-Installer.exe
     → located in the “VCDS Software for other language” folder
     → French version of the VCDS software

   • VIIPlusLoader-08.025.13-FULL-Installer.rar

⚙️ Step 1 — Installing VCDS

1. Launch the VCDS-FRM-25031-Installer.exe installation.

2. Follow the standard installation steps.

3. Finally, do not launch the software (uncheck “Launch VCDS”).

⚙️ Step 2 — Installing VIIPlusLoader

1. Open the VIIPlusLoader-08.025.13-FULL-Installer.rar archive with WinRAR .

2. Run VIIPlusLoader-08.025.13-FULL-Installer.exe .

3. Complete the installation as normal.

4. Again, do not launch the program at the end.

🔌 Step 3 — Connecting the probe

1. Connect your HEX-V2 STM32F429 cable to the USB port of your computer.

2. Wait approximately 10 seconds for Windows to automatically configure the drivers.

🚀 Step 4 — Launching the software

1. Do not use the VCDS FRM 25.03 shortcut on the desktop!

   ❌ Never open VCDS directly.

2. Launch only the VIIPlusLoader shortcut.

3. In VIIPlusLoader, click on “Launch VCDS” .

4. Choose “FRM” (French version), then click OK .

🔄 Step 5 — First use

• During the first launch , a cable update may be triggered automatically.

  Wait a few seconds without unplugging the cable.

• Once VCDS is open:

  1. Go to Options .

  2. Click on Test to check communication with the probe.

  3. Click Save to save the settings.

✅ Step 6 — Usage

Your VAG-COM HEX-V2 STM32F429 cable is now ready for use.
Always launch VCDS via VIIPlusLoader for the software to work correctly.
