📦 Step 1 – Download and Extraction

  1. Download the archive: KSUITE 2.80.rar

  2. Right-click → Extract here or Extract to… with WinRAR

  3. Place the extracted folder directly in the root of drive C:

    C:\KSUITE 2.80\

⚠️ Avoid excessively long paths or folders with special characters.


🔌 Step 2 – Installing the USB Drivers

  1. Open the folder:
    C:\KSUITE 2.80\DRIVER\

  2. Install in the following order :
    1️⃣ vcredist_x86.exe
    2️⃣ Driver_USBDEVICEDRV.EXE

  3. Once both installations are complete, you must restart your PC.

These drivers are essential for Windows to correctly recognize the KESS V2 interface.


🔗 Step 3 – Connecting the KESS V2 interface

  1. After restarting, connect your KESS V2 interface via USB

  2. Please wait a few seconds while Windows finishes installing the devices.

  3. No error message should appear.


🚀 Step 4 – KSUITE Launch

  1. Open the folder:
    C:\KSUITE 2.80\

  2. Launch ksuite.exe
    (right-click → Run as administrator )

  3. The software should open and automatically detect the KESS V2 interface.

You can now:

  • Read ECU maps

  • Back up the original files

  • Write modified maps

  • Working via OBD or on a bench , depending on the supported protocol


⚠️ Important advice

  • Temporarily disable your antivirus software if it is blocking it from running.

  • Never connect the interface to a vehicle without a stable voltage (>13V recommended)

  • Always back up the original file before writing anything.

  • Do not install multiple versions of KSUITE on the same PC without first cleaning it up.
