📌 Tutorial: Installing and Activating Delphi / Autocom 2021.10b

Follow this step-by-step guide to install Delphi 2021.10b , install the appropriate drivers, and add an exception in Windows Defender to prevent accidental file deletion.

1️⃣ Download and extract Delphi 2021.10b

1. Download the "Delphi_2021.10b.zip" file from the provided source.

2. Unzip the archive into a standard folder (avoid extracting directly to "Downloads" or to an external drive).

3. Make sure that all files are extracted before proceeding with the installation.

2️⃣ Add an exception in Windows Defender and temporarily disable real-time protection

💡 Why is this procedure necessary?
Windows Defender may automatically delete certain software files (Delphi or AutoCom) due to the absence of a recognized digital signature.
If these files are deleted during installation, it will cause an error when launching the software .
It is therefore imperative to temporarily disable real-time protection before installation , and then add the installation folder as an exception.

📌 Step 1: Access Windows Defender settings

1. Press Windows + S , type Windows Security , and then open the application.
