CAN Clip V212 software for Renault - Dacia

The CAN Clip V212 software is only compatible with the older diagnostic tool for the following RENAULT and DACIA vehicles:

The diagnostic software is:

• CAN Clip V212 is the latest compatible and stable software for older NORMAL and FULL CHIP sensors For all Renault and Dacia vehicles from 1999 until August 2021, only works under Windows 7 32-bit.

May require a Renault token for diagnostics of vehicles after 2017 (possibility of installing a version prior to V195 of 2020 to resolve this restriction).

Unlike other universal diagnostic tools that are limited to reading error codes or generic functions , this software performs virtually ALL the functionalities of the original dealer diagnostic tool .

The only unavailable functions are those that require online operations, demanding direct access to the brand's servers.

Your PC must be set to the same language. For example: if you want the Polish language, your PC must be set to Polish.

Installation tips:

• When installing any of the software, please disable your antivirus and firewall. This will prevent any risk of file corruption or deletion.
• This software is only compatible with 32-bit Windows 7. To use it on a 64-bit system (Windows 7, 8, 10), you can install a Virtual Machine.
• When connecting the device to the car, ensure that the vehicle's voltage is above 13V to guarantee optimal operation.
• Do not install two different versions of the software on the same computer, as this could corrupt the probe. Before installing a new version, be sure to properly uninstall the previous version. No software reactivation is necessary if a previous installation and activation have already been performed.

Installation procedure:

PREREQUISITES

• Operating system: Windows 7 32-bit only.

FACILITY

1. Before starting the installation, run the file 01. Renault CLIP.reg .
2. Proceed with the CLIP software installation as normal, accepting the driver installation.
3. Restart the computer if necessary.

ACTIVATION

1. Do not launch CLIP after installation!
2. Go to the directory C:\CLIP_X91\Lib\Application\ .
3. Save the original RSWin.exe file by moving it to your desktop.
4. Replace RSWin.exe in C:\CLIP_X91\Lib\Application\ with the one from folder 02 to activate the software.
5. Run RSWin.exe in C:\CLIP_X91\Lib\Application\ .
   • Select "Register me now".
   • In the next window, choose "NO".
6. Generate your registration key using Renault CLIP TOOL or Renault Can Clip Registration available in the KEYGEN folder.
7. Once the software is activated, put the original RSWin.exe (the one saved on your desktop) back in its place in C:\CLIP_X91\Lib\Application\ .
8. Launch the CLIP software from your desktop and enjoy.

PROBE PATCH

1. If your Can Clip tool is not recognized:
   • Replace the probesConfiguration.xml and probesConfiguration_logs.xml files in the C:\CLIP\Config directory with those from the 03 folder.
2. To access vehicles manufactured before 2005:
   • Copy the IsoDrv.dll file from folder 03 to C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAGEM SA .
