CAN CLIP V234 – Renault / Dacia diagnostic software (stable offline version)

CAN CLIP V234 is the latest stable and fully functional offline version of the official Renault and Dacia diagnostic software. Compatible with VCI 1 interfaces (pre-2025) and VCI 3 interfaces (new generation, from 2025 onwards).

🔧 General presentation

Following recent developments on the Renault side, versions higher than V234 (V237, V240…) now require a Renault token (software key/dongle) to access ALL functions from vehicle authentication.

As a result, V234 is the latest version that can be used without an online connection and is 100% compatible with Renault and Dacia vehicles until the end of 2023.

ℹ️ Important: certain so-called secure operations — such as online telecoding, advanced learning, ECU updates or key and hands-free card programming — require a Renault token and cannot be carried out offline , regardless of the software version.
In addition, some vehicles produced after 2016-2017 may also require a token for any communication with the computers, making offline diagnostics impossible .
In this case, it is recommended to use an older RTL2002 probe with CAN CLIP V192 software (maximum) to ensure compatibility and access to diagnostics on 2016 to 2019 models.

• Advice :

  • Disable your antivirus/firewall during installation.

  • Do not install two versions of CAN CLIP on the same PC.

  • Connect the probe to a vehicle with a voltage > 13 V.
