34 Maintenance Reset Services:
- Resetting the oil change indicator. Allows you to reset the engine oil life system for recalculation after an oil change.
- Electronic parking brake (EPB) reset. This service is important for maintaining the safety and efficiency of the electronic braking system.
- BAT Battery Test. Allows the analysis tool to assess the battery's state of charge, monitor closed-circuit current, register battery replacement, and activate vehicle sleep mode.
- Diesel particulate filter (DPF) reset. Works specifically for diesel particulate filter systems with DPF regeneration, DPF component replacement learning, and DPF learning after engine control unit replacement.
- SAS Steering Angle Sensor Reset. Helps clear the memory of the faulty steering angle sensor and plays an important role in steering angle sensor calibration.
- TPMS tire pressure monitoring system reset. Plays an important role in displaying sensor IDs from the vehicle's ECU, entering replacement TPMS sensor IDs, and testing the sensors.
- IMMO key programming. The unique function of car key programming and PIN code reading, it is mainly used to disable lost vehicle keys and program a new replacement key fob.
- ABS bleeding. Bleeding the ABS brakes allows for a firm brake pad after the air has been expelled following repair of the ABS pump system.
- Resetting the sunroof. The sunroof must be reset when the sunroof control unit has a communication problem or has been changed.
- Suspension reset. Try resetting the electronic suspension, the air suspension with the massage system, close all doors, scroll through the message system and go to suspension reset or stop.
- Transmission Reset. DIY Adaptive Learning Transmission Reset Procedure. Start the car and drive. Once you have completed this procedure, the engine control unit (ECU) and the transmission control unit (TCU) will work together to learn your driving style by monitoring your driving habits. After following this TCU/ECU programming method, drive the car.
- Resetting the AFS headlights. "AFS" stands for Adaptive Front Lighting System (at night with bi-xenon headlights). They swivel from side to side; by pressing this button, they remain pointed forward and do not swivel when you turn the steering wheel.
- Injector coding. Leaking injectors and some dead injectors may go undetected even when an injector is disabled. Other problems with the ignition system and mechanical components may also not show a loss of RPM when an injector is disabled.
- Throttle body adaptation. The throttle body is a tube containing a pivoting flat valve (throttle) that controls the amount of air entering an engine. In a car with electronic fuel injection, a throttle position sensor and an airflow sensor communicate with the computer, which supplies the corresponding amount of fuel to the injectors. It may be necessary to relearn the throttle position sensor after cleaning or repair.
- Speed learning. The scanning tool monitors certain signals from the camshaft position sensors to determine if all conditions are met to proceed with the engine learning procedure.
- EGR reset. Reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) in exhaust gases and improve fuel economy at partial load.
- A/F Reset. This function is used to adjust or learn the air/fuel ratio parameters.
- Resetting the AdBlue (diesel engine exhaust gas filter). After replacing or refilling the diesel exhaust gas treatment fluid (automotive urea), a urea reset operation is required.
- Airbag reset. This function resets the airbag data to clear the airbag crash fault indicator.
- Coolant flush. Use this function to activate the electronic water pump before flushing the cooling system.
- AT Learning. This function complements the transmission's self-learning process to improve shift quality. When the transmission is disassembled or repaired (after disconnecting part of the car's battery), it can result in delayed or jarring shifts. In such cases, this function is necessary to allow the transmission to automatically compensate for driving conditions, resulting in smoother and more efficient shifting.
- Language change. This function is used to change the language of the vehicle's central control panel system.
- NOx sensor reset. The NOx sensor is used to detect the nitrogen oxide (NOx) content in the engine's exhaust gases. If the NOx fault is cleared and the NOx catalyst is replaced, it is necessary to reset the catalyst's learned value stored in the engine's ECU.
- ODO reset.
- a) Resetting the ODO involves copying, writing, or rewriting the mileage value into the odometer chip using a car diagnostic computer and a data cable, so that the odometer shows the actual mileage.
- b) Usually, when the mileage is incorrect due to a damaged vehicle speed sensor or odometer failure, it is necessary to reset the ODO.
- Stop/Start function reset. This function is used to open or close the automatic start/stop function via the setting of the hidden function in the ECU (provided that the vehicle has a hidden function and it is supported by the hardware).
- Seat calibration. This function is applied to match seats with memory function that are being replaced and repaired.
- Transport mode. In order to reduce energy consumption, the following functions can be deactivated, including vehicle speed limitation, non-awakening of the door opening network and deactivation of the remote control, etc.
- Window calibration. This function is designed to match the door windows in order to recover the initial ECU memory, and restore the automatic up and down function of the electric window.
- Motor angular position sensor calibration. There is a discrepancy between the rotor position detected by the motor angular position sensor and the actual position of the rotor's magnetic field; therefore, the motor angle must be calibrated. Supported vehicles: Acura, BMW, Honda, Lexus, MINI, Toyota.
- Engine power balance. During each cylinder's power stroke, the power balance monitors crankshaft acceleration to determine the relative power delivered by each cylinder. Supported vehicles: Acura, Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Kia, Nissan.
