Frequently Asked Questions about Diagbox:

Question 1: My probe is not recognized.

If you are having trouble using your Diagbox probe and the VCI is not recognized by the virtual machine or the Diagbox software, to resolve this issue, it is crucial to connect the probe to the virtual machine and not to the PC.

• Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:
• Start your virtual machine.
• Once the VM is running, connect your probe.
• A message should appear asking you to choose where to connect the probe. Select to connect your probe to the virtual machine and not to the host computer (PC).
• Furthermore, you have the option to force your probe to connect to the VM in the virtual machine settings. This option may be necessary if your VM does not automatically recognize the probe.

Question 2: I am being asked to activate the software.

Issue :

The Diagbox software activation is not transferred when moving the Diagbox partition.

Cause :

Incorrect option selection during the first launch of the Diagbox partition.

Solution :

When first launching the Diagbox partition, make sure to click the "I MOVED IT" button and not "I COPIED IT".

Resolution if the error has already been made:

• Delete the existing Diagbox partition.
• Create a new Diagbox partition.
• When launching the new partition for the first time, make sure to select the "I MOVED IT" option.
