Function to be activated via VCDS - VAG-COM software
Option description:
Enables activation of ambient lighting and its management with the MMI.
Step 1: Activate the ambient lighting
[09 – Power Plant] -> [Coding- 07] -> [Long Coding Helper]
Octet 16:
Bit 6: Check "Interior/Ambience Lighting Adaptation active"
Step 2: Activate the menu in the MMI
Launch the Hidden Menu by pressing MENU + CAR (for 6 seconds)
car -> carmenuoperation -> interior light -> select “5”
Press "Return"
car -> cardevicelist -> interior light -> check the box
car -> carbusassignment -> Interior light -> Select [CAN Komfort] 1/9
Reboot the MMI by pressing MENU + Scroll Wheel + Top Right Button.
Functioning:
Ambient lighting
– is permanently activated when the headlight switch is in the OFF position.
– automatically activates/deactivates when the light switch is in the AUTO position.
– will never light up to 100% (even when selecting maximum brightness).
– will light up to 100% when the doors are opened.
